Panther Creek High School

Frisco, Texas

Students said they were consistently inspired by contemporary, modern looks with lots of windows, and the design reflects their preferences. The campus will blend in with surrounding planned buildings which will also be multiple stories and within the same design aesthetic of “Texas modern.” Read more about this project on Hollyhock's website.

How Max Compact Exterior Panels Added Value

Fundermax was chosen because the architects wanted a wood look without the upkeep and maintenance of real wood. By using Fundermax in the higher areas, they were able to have a product that looks like wood but does not require frequent upkeep such as painting, staining, or sealing it.

In the lower areas, the cleanability and anti-graffiti elements are key factors for why they chose Fundermax.  Since this is a school, it has a chance to get scuffed and/or vandalized, so durability was important when looking at phenolic panel options.
