North Branch High School

Founded in 1932, North Branch High School in North Branch, Minnesota, was renovated in 2020 to allow a 60% increase in student capacity.

As part of the renovation, local legislation enabled the district to fund safety and security improvements, maintenance and updates to facilities, expanded gym and athletic programs, and technology used for classroom instruction.

The ATSR team envisioned large-format, durable panels for the school’s exterior facade in a cohesive design. Fundermax’s design versatility fulfilled the vision, with Max Compact Exterior panels applied in a contrast of a rich woodgrain and sleek, solid grey. The cladding extends to a column by the entrance in red, matching the school’s branding.

The material’s modern performance qualities make it the right choice for the high-traffic application, which sees many students coming and going.
