Mount Juliet Police Department

Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

The Mount Juliet Police Department in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, is a modern government facility serving the growing community of Wilson County. Designed by architect WORKSHOP, the building called for interior spaces that could balance the demands of a high-traffic, functional environment with a sense of civic pride and visual identity. The result is a facility that goes beyond the expected - using bold design choices to create a workplace that feels purposeful and energizing for the officers and staff who use it every day.

How Max Compact Exterior Panels Added Value

For the building's stairwell, architect WORKSHOP specified Fundermax Max Compact Exterior F-Grade 10mm panels - used here in an interior application- alongside Max HPL, to craft custom handrails and wall coverings. The specification of an exterior-grade panel for interior use speaks to the product's versatility and the design team's confidence in its performance.

Fabricated and installed by Sledgecraft Architectural Millwork using a custom fastening system, the panels were brought to life in decor 0647 Golden Yellow in both NG and FH finishes. The result is a stairwell that commands attention - injecting warmth, energy, and craftsmanship into a space that might otherwise go unnoticed, and serving as a reminder that durability and design don't have to be mutually exclusive - even in the most hardworking spaces.
